ROADMAPS is a deep dive into the pain, trauma and grief caused by cancer. It's a mother's journey through poetry while she battled along side her son in the fight against childhood leukemia. It's a daughter's journey through essays while she grieved for her mother and learned how to cope with loss. It was written when the author didn't know how to maneuver this indescribably sad and heartbreaking new terrain. When she didn't know to grieve, how to cope, she wrote.
