Smokey Elestial is in the Quartz Family 

While Smoky Elestial is a supercharged Quartz crystal, it is very good for grounding.  With metaphysical properties assisting in magnification and transformation.  Smoky Elestial is great in assisting in shadow work and helping one move on.
